How to use this tool

1
Set your range

Type the smallest and largest numbers you want in the range, for example 1 and 100.

2
Choose how many numbers

Choose how many numbers to draw, up to 100 in one go.

3
Set repeats and sorting

Leave repeats off for unique numbers, or switch them on if the same number may appear twice. Switch sorting on for an ordered list.

4
Generate and copy

Press “Generate numbers”, then copy the list or generate again for a fresh set. Recent draws are kept below the results.

Formula & worked example

Each draw picks a whole number uniformly from minimum to maximum inclusive, so each value has a 1 in (maximum − minimum + 1) chance. With repeats off, drawn numbers are removed from the pool before the next draw.

With a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 100, asking for 5 numbers without repeats might give 7, 23, 41, 68, 92. Every draw is fresh: generate again and you get a completely different set, because each number in the range has the same chance of being picked.

Limitations — read this before you rely on it

Results use the browser's built-in pseudo-random generator (Math.random). They are random enough for games, raffles and everyday picks, but they are not cryptographically secure and must not be used for passwords, encryption, gambling systems or any lottery guarantee. No draw can predict or influence the next one.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Pick any whole-number minimum and maximum, choose how many numbers you want, and press generate. Turn repeats off if every number must be different.

RNG stands for random number generator. Ours draws each number with an equal chance from your chosen range, so no number is favoured over another.

Yes — with repeats switched off, the generator draws without replacement, like pulling names from a hat. It will warn you if you ask for more unique numbers than the range contains.

Yes. Set the minimum to 1 and the maximum to the number of entries, then generate one number. That number is the winner — perfect for raffles, giveaways and picking a name.

It is fine for games, raffles, classroom picks and everyday decisions. It is not suitable for cryptography, secure passwords or anything where a predictable result could be exploited.
