Roll any dice — d4 to d100, multiple dice, modifiers and full roll history.
Pick a preset above, or type any number of sides from 2 to 1000.
Example: rolling 2d6+3 adds 3 to the dice total. A negative modifier subtracts.

How to use this tool
Choose a preset — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100 — or type a custom number of sides from 2 to 1000.
Roll one die or up to 20 dice at once.
Add a bonus (for example +3) or a penalty (for example −2). Leave it at 0 for a plain roll.
Press “Roll the dice” to see the total, each individual die, and the lowest and highest results possible. Your last rolls stay in the history below.
Formula & worked example
Rolling 2d6+3 means two six-sided dice plus 3. If the dice show 4 and 5, the dice total is 9 and the final total is 12. The lowest possible result is 5 (1+1+3) and the highest is 15 (6+6+3).
Limitations — read this before you rely on it
Results use the browser's built-in pseudo-random generator (Math.random). They are fair for tabletop games, classroom probability and casual play, but they are not cryptographically secure and must not be used for gambling, lotteries or any decision where a provably fair or audited roll is required.
Frequently asked questions
Pick a dice type — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100 or a custom number of sides — choose how many dice, add a modifier if you want one, and press “Roll the dice”.
“d20” means one 20-sided die, the classic die for role-playing games. “2d6+3” means two six-sided dice, added together, plus 3.
Yes. Type any number of sides from 2 to 1000 in the custom sides box — useful for percentile dice, unusual tabletop dice and probability experiments.
The modifier is added to (or subtracted from) the dice total after rolling. It represents a bonus, penalty or character skill modifier in a game.
Every face of each die has an equal chance, and every roll is independent — a previous roll never makes any result more or less likely next time.
