A fun name-compatibility meter — for entertainment only, never real advice.
FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND FUN ONLY. This is a joke meter, not science: it cannot measure real feelings, predict a relationship or give relationship advice. Real compatibility is built on communication, respect and shared life — not on a number from two names.
The score is deterministic: the same two names always give the same result, in either order, so you can share it and get the same number every time.
Compatibility (for fun only)
How to use this tool
Type any two first names. The meter scores them instantly — and because it is deterministic, the same names always give the same result.
You get a percentage, a fun verdict band and a light-hearted message. Swap the names around: the score does not change.
“Copy result” or “Share” sends the score to a friend — with the “for fun only” note attached.
A party game, not a prediction. If you like someone, talk to them — no meter can do that part.
Formula & worked example
Example: with the deterministic hash, “Ayesha + Omar” scores the same as “Omar + Ayesha” every time, and re-entering the same pair later gives the identical number — that repeatability is the proof it is a fixed formula on the names, not a measurement of anything real.
Limitations — read this before you rely on it
FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND FUN ONLY. This calculator is not scientific, psychological or predictive: it does not measure feelings, compatibility or relationship outcomes, and it must never be used to make relationship decisions or to give advice to others. Real relationships depend on communication, respect, trust and shared experience. If a relationship is causing distress, talk to a trusted person or a qualified counsellor — not a name meter.
Frequently asked questions
No — and it says so everywhere on the page. It is a fun, deterministic formula on two names, not a measurement of feelings or a prediction about any relationship.
Because the score is computed from the names alone with a fixed hash. That repeatability is deliberate, so you can share a result and get the same number every time.
No. The names are sorted before hashing, so “A + B” and “B + A” always score identically.
Nothing about real life. It is a joke verdict — plenty of happy couples would score low here, because the meter knows nothing about them.
Please do not. Decisions about people deserve real conversation, not a percentage from a name game. This tool is for laughs only.
