Credit utilization across cards: balances divided by limits, overall and per card.
overall credit utilization
How to use this tool
Type balance and credit limit.
Add a second card; enter $0 balance for one card only.
In Advanced options, see utilization after a new purchase.
One maxed card matters even if the total looks fine.
Formula & worked example
Worked example: Card 1 $2,000 / $5,000 = 40%. Card 2 $1,000 / $5,000 = 20%. Overall ($2,000 + $1,000) / ($5,000 + $5,000) = $3,000 / $10,000 = 30%.
Limitations — read this before you rely on it
Utilization is one scoring factor among many, and scoring models and reporting dates differ. Balances are usually reported monthly, so paying before the statement date can change the reported figure. This is not credit advice.
